These flourless low carb brownies are really good specially with a glass of iced whole milk. If you are craving for chocolaty fudgy brownies but trying to cut down on carbohydrates intake, this recipe will satisfy you.
Flourless Brownies
¾ cup salted butter
½ cup fine almond flour
6 to 8 tablespoons birch xylitol
¼ cup cocoa powder
½ teaspoon baking powder
3 large eggs
- Preheat oven to 350°F,
- Line an 8 x 8 inch baking pan with nonstick aluminum foil or parchment paper.
- In a glass bowl, combine chocolate and butter. Microwave for 1 minute until melted. Stir to combine; set aside to cool.
- In a small bowl, whisk together almond flour, xylitol, cocoa powder, and baking soda; set aside.
- In the bowl of a standing mixer, beat eggs until slightly frothy. Add butter chocolate mixture and beat on low until fully combined. Slowly add dry mixture and beat on low until smooth, about 2 minutes.
- Spoon into the prepared pan and bake for 18 minutes.
- Let cool slightly on a wire rack. Cut into 1 inch squares.
- Enjoy with a glass of iced whole milk.
