It's that time of the year again when we indulge in sweet stuff, specially mint candy canes, Spanish turones, Italian torrone, and a variety of candies and cookies that come out during the Christmas season. I couldn't resist getting a container each of candy cane flavored cotton candy and of chocolate-dipped peppermint sticks. The small tub of peppermint sticks is really expensive compared with plain candy canes but these are really crunchy and the chocolate coating is so good. I didn't find any Spanish turon but boxes of Italian torrone are available in most grocery stores.
